New Video: David Guetta & Nicki Minaj “Turn Me On” Premiere

Finalmente! The highly anticipated music video for David Guetta and Nicki Minaj “Turn Me On”  has premiered.

The single from Guetta’s “Nothing but the Beat” album has been creating a buzz from its release. The music video is captivating and gives a nod to the art of Steam-punk.

It starts off with  David (playing a mad scientist)creating Nicki out of wax and gadgets. Her skin begins to stretch over the skeletal frame, creating a glossy figure which finally transitions into a more human-like figure . During the chorus, Nicki  begins to walk through the town filled with doll-like bodies who have taking notice of her appearance . The Dolls then rush to David’s workshop to be given more life-like faces. The female figures then embrace David which somehow transforms him into a super being morphing his skin into a suit of armor. Meanwhile, Nicki is surrounded by male figures as she sings the chorus. In the end we see Nicki riding out on the back of a horse escaping the town, away from David’s workshop.

This is exactly what we were expecting quirky and creative. This definitely has to be one of the most interesting videos we have seen in a while. We especially love the fact that the concept fits under the time frame of the song.

We appreciate when artistes go the extra mile to give their music video’s great concepts that sometimes give you the feel of a movie.

Check out the video and give us your opinion.
